Prayer vigils outside abortion facilities are the cornerstone of pro-life outreach.
From September 24th – November 2nd, 40 Days for Life vigils will take place outside abortion facilities across the nation and in many locations right here in Oregon and nearby cities.
Oregon Vigil Locations:
- Beaverton – Beaverton vigils will be Wed–Sat beginning Sept. 24th. Please sign up for an hour each week for the full six weeks.
- Salem
- Bend
- Eugene
Vigils Across the Oregon Border:
Will you commit to an hour or two to participate at the vigil location closest to you?
Pro-life prayer vigils are how we physically and spiritually “show up” where it’s needed most: right outside abortion facilities where so many young women tragically make devastating decisions they often deeply regret.
Sometimes, all it takes for a woman (who many times feels pressured or coerced to get an abortion) to change her mind is seeing people peacefully gathered in prayer outside the abortion facility as she drives into the parking lot; or hearing someone tell her: “You don’t have to do this – there’s another way.” as she approaches the door.
Please make a plan to join your local vigil and pray for an hour or two. Your peaceful presence and prayers are more powerful than you know.
