Friend,
Over a month ago now, Speaker Johnson sent Congress home early for
August recess in an attempt to stop a vote on the release of the
Epstein Files.
Now that we're back in session, please know that we are just as
determined, if not more, to push for the truth.
But while the GOP sent us home early, we took
that time to continue to show up in our district and advocate for our
communities. Here is a recap of some of the events this past
month:
- Visited a company in El Segundo that is helping secure
the United States as a leader in technology.
- Spoke in Torrance about the importance of our district
in space innovation.
- Hosted our annual service academy day, where we
connected students and parents with congressional staff and service
academy speakers.
- Held a Day of Action to honor our veterans and fight
back against the Administration's attacks on them and their
families.
- Helped reintroduce legislation to combat workplace
discrimination and sexual harassment.
- And as always, spoke out about Trump's harmful
policies.
Whether Congress is in session or not, my work to hold this
Administration accountable and fight for what's best for working
Americans is always a priority.
I'm
ready to keep taking on the GOP in Washington. Will you chip in $20
today so we can show Republicans that we're prepared for this
fight?
