The Grundy Economic Development Commission honored over 40 interns from several Grundy organizations at their dinner earlier this week. Congratulations to all of the interns on your hard work this summer!

I was truly honored to be named the Community Advocate of the Year by the Kankakee EDCA at their recent luncheon. I look forward to continuing my work alongside this great organization to better our community!

National Night Out was a huge success this year! Thank you to everyone who generously donated to our school supply drive. We were able to pass out 600 bags with school supplies for kids in the 79th District!!📚✏️📒

It was my honor to join the Illinois Department of Transportation in celebrating the completion of the intersection of Illinois 50 and Armour Road project in Bradley. This infrastructure initiative will increase safety and mobility for drivers in the area, along with increasing access to the largest employer in Kankakee County: CSL Behring.

I attended the Will County Farm Bureau barn meeting, along with a few of my colleagues from the House. We discussed some of the key issues facing farmers in Illinois and solutions for us to support their critical work!

Congratulations to the new Kumon location in Bourbonnais on your grand opening! This facility will help provide more educational opportunities for children in our community.

Thank you to everyone who attended and donated blood at our Blood Drive event in Monee! I always appreciate those who take time from their day to help save lives in our community.

My office attended the ribbon-cutting at the new River Valley Metro facility. This is a great step forward in enhancing our local infrastructure and transit for residents!

Congratulations to the Kankakee State's Attorney on the official ribbon cutting for your community division office! This has been a wonderful addition to our community, and I am thrilled we were finally able to celebrate this space!
