This is the whole ball game, John:
@JeffMerkley: Why does Trump want to ban Vote by Mail? Because it blocks Election Day interference: closing polling places, long lines, voter suppression. Vote by Mail is the best tool we have to put power where it belongs—in the hands of the people. I'll fight like hell to protect it. [[link removed]]
This is the whole reason behind President Donald Trump's massive anti-voting executive order. After every election in which he's been a candidate or in power, Trump has raged over the use of mail-in ballots in general and ballot deadlines in particular . He's tried to claim fraud for every single ballot counted after Election Day.
It's worth noting that Trump himself has used mail-in ballots to vote , most recently in an election in his now-home state of Florida.
This isn't about safety or security. It's a blatantly partisan exercise to suppress the vote and make it harder for you to have your voice heard in our elections. It's about their anti-democratic authoritarian desires and need for total control.
John, we're fighting every day to protect vote-by-mail and increase participation in our elections. Help us protect our fundamental right to vote with $25 or whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]

We all know that mail-in voting laws are about ballot accessibility, making it easier for voters to participate in our elections . Elderly voters, the disabled, our military service members -- they all vote by mail.
Mail-in voting has happened dating back to the Civil War. It's always been safe and secure, mail-in voting fraud is supremely rare. States have spent millions of taxpayer dollars investigating voter fraud since 2020's "big lie" and found virtually nothing. Mail-in voting has been used widely in some states for decades and in most of the country since the pandemic. There's no good faith reason to get rid of it.
Opponents of voting rights have proven they'll go to any length necessary to stop people from voting and make sure that they stay in power. Will you chip in $25 or whatever you can to fight their unending desire for control and protect mail-in voting? [[link removed]] >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
