For the first time in years, Republicans have outraised Democrats in the first half of the year. They’re building a record-breaking war chest, and if we don’t act now, they’ll have the resources to flood our district with attacks.

It’s a lot to take in and it would be easy to feel overwhelmed. But I don’t get scared. I get prepared.

This is the only toss-up district in New York and one of the most competitive races in the country. Losing it would make taking back the House next year much harder and give Republicans free rein to continue cutting health care, slashing food assistance, and rewarding billionaires while working families suffer.
