It is essential Democrats win back the House majority next November — and I’m doing my part.

The road to winning the House runs through Pennsylvania, and that’s why I’m so thrilled my friend Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti just launched her campaign to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District in Congress.

When I served as President Biden’s liaison to mayors across the country, I saw firsthand how capable and committed Paige is to her community and public service. Every time we met, she fought vigorously for federal funding to ensure her community grows good-paying jobs and supports working families.

Paige is the fighter we need to win big in 2026 and make Washington work for us. She’s a working mom who understands that our families deserve better. She’s taken on corruption at home. In fact, when she first ran, she was nicknamed “Paige Against the Machine.”

Paige is running against a sitting congressman who is voting to gut vital programs while giving tax breaks to billionaires. He is trading stocks in the same industries he regulates, after promising to ban congressional stock trading. He’s saying one thing and doing another, while advancing the corruption we need to root out of DC.

I’m going to do everything I can to secure a Democratic majority in the House, and helping Paige win is a big part of that effort. I am proud to support her, and I hope you’ll join me.
