Our shocking victory in Boebert’s most important county, showed that Democrats, independents, and Republicans alike are fed up with MAGA and Boebert.
John,
To say that Lauren Boebert is vulnerable in the upcoming 2026 midterms is an understatement.
After reading this we hope you will understand why we so wholeheartedly believe that Trisha Cavarese can beat Boebert in 2026.
In June 2025, MAGA launched a lightning push to pass a “home rule” ballot initiative in Douglas County, the most populous county in Lauren Boebert’s congressional district. Home rule would have allowed this red county to create its own constitution and in a sense secede from the state putting the county at odds with the Governor and legislature.
Against all odds, Democrats managed the effort to stop home rule in Douglas County and together we defeated the initiative with a landslide 70% of the vote.
Our shocking victory in Boebert’s most important county, showed that Democrats, independents, and Republicans alike are fed up with MAGA and Boebert. In 2024 Trisha only trailed Boebert here by 1343 votes and in 2026 it is on track to go deep blue.
This combined with the deep unpopularity of the GOP and Trump, the fact that Boebert is seen as a carpetbagger (she moved hundreds of miles to CD4 after it became clear she would lose in CD3), and the Boebert campaign reporting their lowest ever fundraising this year, means that she is critically vulnerable for 2026.
