Senator Bracy Davis succeeds a true trailblazer, the late Senator Geraldine Thompson. We know that Senator Bracy Davis will continue her legacy—advocating for her constituents and championing the issues that matter most to our state.

The addition of Senator-Elect Bracy Davis to our Senate Democratic Caucus is a tremendous victory for Florida women, families, and our shared future. She has been a fearless advocate in the Florida House, and now, she will bring that same courage and determination to the Florida Senate. She has never wavered in her fight for justice, equality, and the rights of women to make their own choices about their lives and their futures. 

We have been proud to stand with LaVon from day one of this campaign, and we are thrilled to see voters stand with her. Her victory is proof that when Democratic pro-choice women run, they win and they deliver results for their communities.
