In June, more than 1,200 Servant Leader Interns (SLIs) gathered for our annual Ella Baker Child Policy Training Institute: National Training for CDF Freedom Schools® Site Coordinators and Servant Leader Interns-- a powerful week of learning, growth, and unity. Our Ella Baker Trainers put their Boots on the Ground at Children’s Defense Fund’s Alex Haley Farm to train and prepare for an incredible CDF Freedom Schools summer of learning.
