Friend,

First responders go by a lot of names…

… firefighter.
… paramedic.
… police officer.
… disaster response technician.
… border patrol agent.

But you and I know them by the one name they won’t call themselves: hero.

First responders are the hometown heroes who keep us safe. They go to work
every day, even though that means confronting the worst situations imaginable.
It’s what makes these men and women heroes. They know what they signed up for
and do it anyway.

However, their service and sacrifice are almost always overlooked by the
Radical Left.

It’s time to restore trust and honor to our first responders.

That’s why I wrote my latest book, Behind the Badge, dedicated to telling
their story.

I am also teaming up with the Kash Foundation to support our first responders
and veterans.

While activists take cheap shots at our first responders, the Kash Foundation
is restoring faith in their service, defending their dignity, and standing up
for them when attacked by the media and activists.

I believe in the mission of the Kash Foundation, and I am helping them raise
money to support our veterans and first responders by raising $20,000 before
the end of the month.

I know these men and women. I grew up with them, and I served with them. I
know the trauma they endure and the victories that they get to save lives every
day.

And it’s a shame the little thanks first responders get sometimes.

The one thing they all have in common is that each one of them felt compelled
to help their fellow citizens, regardless of the risk.

Too often, government officials are setting up our first responders to fail
and being used as political punching bags for the Radical Left.

It’s time for you and me to protect them.

The Kash Foundation has been able to:

* Provide financial support and care for families of those who fall in the
line of duty. They help cover funeral expenses and provide direct support to
the spouse and children left behind.
* Provide scholarships to the children of those who gave everything. They
provide scholarships that help those kids, so their parents’ sacrifice doesn’t
define their future.
* Fund legal defenses for service members falsely accused and abandoned by
the system. When they are caught up in a political firestorm that costs them
their job, they help them and their family make do while they are in the eye of
the storm.
Let’s let our first responders know that we have their backs!

Please show first responders that they have your support by donating any
amount you can spare today.

You and I owe everything to our first responders. It’s time to make sure we
have their backs, because they will always be there when we need them.

God Bless America,
