Tonight at 6:00pm:

The Howard Jarvis Radio Show LIVE on

790 KABC & 810 KSFO and streaming online

“It should not be easier to raise your taxes.”

– Jon Coupal, President, HJTA

Join Susan and Scott tonight at 6:00 p.m. for a very special Howard Jarvis Radio Show, when we will officially launch the campaign to pass the Local Taxpayer Protection Act to Save Proposition 13!

Listen live in Southern California on AM 790 KABC and in Central and Northern California on AM 810 KSFO. Text, email or call your friends and family. The show can also be heard streaming live on KSFO.com and KABC.com.

We’re now cleared for circulation and we’re collecting signatures to get this important taxpayer protection on the November 2026 ballot.

It will:

  • Restore the 2/3 vote requirement for all local special taxes.
  • Ban and repeal all real estate transfer taxes above 0.11 percent.

These protections were IN PROPOSITION 13, but court-created loopholes have taken them away.

Join this effort to Save Proposition 13 and protect local taxpayers in California. It should NOT be easier to raise your taxes. You can sign the petition right now, by printing it at home on one sheet of ordinary letter-size paper:

If everyone listening to the Howard Jarvis Radio Show signs this petition and collects one additional signature, this initiative will qualify for the ballot. Be a part of this exciting campaign to empower the voters of California to control the taxes they pay.

It’s easy. Complete instructions and even a clip-and-tape mailing label are included with the official petition. Just click or tap here:

If you don’t have a printer available, any office store that offers print services can download the petition from SaveProp13.com and print it for you at a nominal charge. Or if you prefer, we’ll be happy to send you the petition by postal mail...

Then please tell everyone you know how important it is to sign the petition for the Local Taxpayer Protection Act to Save Proposition 13. Forward this email, or send them the link to the SaveProp13.com website!

For the convenience of our volunteers and anyone who wants to collect more signatures, we have a second version of the official petition that has room for six voters to sign. Be sure to print it on legal size paper (8-1/2 x 14”) so that the signatures will count. Here it is:
