I wanted to bump Alma’s email from earlier today. Since my days working as an attorney at SUWA, I've been passionate about protecting Utah's public lands, and Stewardship Utah's pragmatic approach to issue advocacy is just what we need in this moment. We're closing in on our goal to raise $10,000 by midnight tonight and we're just $$2,352 short.
Every dollar raised will help us to build coalitions of support, support pro-public lands candidates on the ground in the upcoming election, and develop our policy platform that enshrines protections for these places for future generations. |
Stewardship Utah is proud to join the coalition of groups doing good work to build lasting protections for our public lands. We bring a strong history of electoral work from our experience protecting Bears Ears National Monument alongside the Navajo Nation. We'll work to organize in communities throughout Utah, building momentum for lasting solutions for our public lands.
As we look to a critical municipal election cycle, your public lands will need more than passion to survive the continuing threats of development and sell-offs. Give today and be part of Stewardship Utah’s movement to enshrine long-term protections that will keep our public lands in public hands for generations to come.

We are just hours away from our deadline to raise $10,000 for our Public Lands efforts here at Stewardship Utah. As we look to expand our public lands program, we join a coalition of partners across the state already in the thick of the fight for long term protections. As a coalition partner, we bring valuable experience and know-how.
|
How Stewardship Utah can help protect these lands: |
-
We blend public lands defense with rural democracy work, honed from our Rural Utah Project work alongside the Navajo Nation that helped protect Bears Ears.
- We unite unlikely allies, Tribal governments, rural farmers, westside families, and recreation advocates.
-
Local elections expertise from our days as O2 Utah, boosting local leaders who are crucial in supporting or opposing development, like what we are seeing now.
|
How can you help with our work? |
-
Goal: We are raising $10,000, and so far have raised $6,113. Will you help us catch up?
-
Time left: Just hours. Our deadline for this campaign is TONIGHT, September 2nd at MIDNIGHT. We mistakenly provided you with the incorrect date last week, and we apologize for the confusion.
- Impact: Stop harmful projects, protect habitat, and elect pro-public lands leaders across the state.
|
We’ve done it before with the Navajo Nation for Bears Ears, and we can do it again. But only with your help now. Every dollar raised will help us to build coalitions of support, support pro-public lands candidates on the ground in the upcoming election, and build our policy platform that enshrines protections for these places for future generations. |
