Last week, Rep. Summer Lee was denied entry into the Moshannon Valley ICE
Detention Center in Pennsylvania.

Why? Because ICE is doing everything in its power to hide the horrific
treatment of our communities.

Rep. Summer Lee showed up to do her job: to hold the Trump administration
and private prison profiteers accountable.

Instead, she was blocked at the gate — by an institution that uses our
taxpayer dollars to detain and abuse immigrants, all while shielding its
operations from public oversight. This isn’t just outrageous. It’s
corruption — clear as day.

We’re proud to stand with Rep. Summer Lee and the local residents, clergy,
and advocates who rallied outside the detention center. But this fight is
far from over.

We have a choice: Stand back, or fight back.
