Labor Day Weekend is behind us, the leaves are just starting to change here in New Jersey, and my grocery store just started selling pumpkins again. It must be back to school time!

On Saturday, September 6th, thousands will take to the streets in Washington, DC for the We Are All DC March to demand an immediate withdrawal of federal troops from the District, an end to the federalization of the local police department, and the right to protect our communities in the future. Lastly, please take a moment to add your name to this petition to free community organizer and DACA recipient Catalina "Xóchitl" Santiago, who was detained by Border Patrol last month at an airport in El Paso, TX. From our partners at Cosecha:
"Xóchitl's detention is the latest example of the Trump administration's escalating, inhumane attacks against immigrant communities. Please sign this petition now to demand her immediate release and fight back against the terror of ICE and CBP."
