On August 22, the Department of Justice released thousands of pages of Epstein files to the House Oversight Committee. Only 3 percent of those documents provided to the Committee were new, and the rest are in the public domain.
As of now, less than 1 percent of the Epstein files have been released. The DOJ is stonewalling our investigation to protect President Trump and his rich and powerful friends. They’ve forced us to subpoena the Epstein estate for additional documents.
Americans deserve to know who is in those files, regardless of wealth, status, or party affiliation. The survivors deserve justice. That’s why Rep. Thomas Massie and I have introduced the Epstein Files Transparency Act to force the full release of the Epstein files with redactions to protect the victims. We need every member of Congress to go on record and decide whether they will support corruption by the rich and powerful or stand up for transparency.

This Wednesday, Rep. Massie and I will be holding a press conference on Capitol Hill with survivors of Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell’s abuse — several of whom will speak publicly for the first time. We’ll hear from them why releasing this information is so important.
We won’t let Trump and his allies abuse their power to hide the truth from the public about who’s being protected and why. We need to build as much pressure as possible right now to ensure this is taken to a vote as soon as the House reconvenes.
