Trump’s Big Ugly Bill hands out massive tax breaks to his billionaire besties, and in a surprise to exactly no one, this bill is already hurting Arizona families.

Our office has heard from hundreds of people: veterans, Medicaid recipients, and families who know how bad this policy is. 

Arizonans across the district are writing to our office to tell us about family members who are waiting on SNAP benefits to help make ends meet, veterans who rely on CHAMPVA funding to receive life-saving medication, and families who are terrified that losing access to Medicaid could force them to have to pay out of pocket for essential care while the bills pile up. 

Every single Arizona Republican voted to rip away care from the most vulnerable among us. These aren’t just numbers, John, they’re LIVES. 

In the last couple of months since Republicans passed their big ugly budget, I’ve been criss-crossing the state to spread the word and make sure Arizonans know which of their representatives voted for this disastrous law.

We need a House majority that will fight to make care more, not less, affordable. As the Democratic Freshman Class President, I’m supporting Democrats across the country so we can win back the House and get things done for working people.
