After spending nearly an entire week out of view from the press and the public, fueling intense speculation about his health, Donald Trump has reemerged in a last-minute White House announcement. 

In 2023, President Joe Biden selected Colorado Springs as the permanent home for the U.S. Space Command headquarters.

And now, citing Colorado's use of mail-in voting, Trump has decided to reward Alabama—a solidly red state—and punish Colorado—a blue state that used to be a swing state—by moving Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, AL:

If this is allowed to happen, it will amount to a massive waste of taxpayer resources, years of planning, and billions of dollars in infrastructure already spent at Peterson Space Force base in Colorado Springs. 

This will harm military communities in Colorado Springs and beyond—all because toddler Trump wanted to reverse a decision made by Joe Biden.

Trump's MAGA enablers in Colorado are directly to blame for this: Lauren Boebert (CO-04), Gabe Evans (CO-08), and freshman Rep. Jeff Crank (CO-05) - who represents the trending-blue region of Colorado Springs.
