Can't wait to see you at Metrobar! Photo by Ericka Hume..

Hi Friend,

Last week was technically the last week of my fellowship. As you receive this, I will be taking time off for a couple of weeks before I return mid-month as GGWash's Engagement Associate. I hope you'll commit to join us for some pretty cool events this month.

Fall Mixer 2024 was when I first joined the team, so it seems fitting that a year later, I will be starting a new position with the organization around this same event. Sure it's a fundraiser, but it feels like an extra special happy hour with hundreds of your closest urbanist friends. I hope to see you there on Wednesday, September 24!

Be extra social and join us the week before at our standing GGWash happy hour.

Later this week, we're partnering with Coalition for Smarter Growth and others to bring you another screening of the film Fault Lines, this time in Fairfax.

Also, save the date for Week Without Driving, September 29 - October 5. If you'd like to participate, you can sign up here.

Fault Lines Screening
with Post-film Panel and Social Hour

Sunday, September 7, 3:15 pm
Angelika Film Center, 2911 District Avenue, Fairfax, VA

We invite you to a special, exclusive screening of the groundbreaking documentary, “Fault Lines,” followed by an expert panel discussion with regional leaders and a social hour to continue the conversation. (GGWash is one of the partners for this event.) Directed by Nate Houghteling and Yoav Attias, Fault Lines offers a powerful exploration of the intersecting issues of housing affordability, homelessness, and local policy in the San Francisco Bay Area.
