While we’ve been struggling with the cost of living crisis, it’s billionaires and banks who’ve been profiting. Taxing them could bring in enough to scrap the two-child benefit cap, pay for this year’s winter fuel allowance, and so much more - it’s time for Reeves to Make Them Pay. [2]
Make Them Pay is an alliance that represents millions of workers, citizens and communities across Britain, with three key demands: 🤑 Tax the super-rich 👷 Protect workers, not billionaires 🏭 Make polluters pay More than 80 organisations - unions, grassroots groups, NGOs and beyond - are signed up in support of Make Them Pay and will be joining hundreds of others around the world for a globally coordinated day of action ahead of COP30. [3] This march is an opportunity to come together and deliver a powerful show of our movement’s strength. |

As we watch our public services crumble and our bills rise, the Big Four banks are on track for record profits. [4] We say enough. No more demonising migrants, or making cuts to vital welfare services. It’s time for this government to show whose side they’re really on. It’s time for them to Make Banks Pay at the upcoming Autumn Budget.
