Friend, even in deep-red Alabama, Democrats are overperforming.
If you have a second, we'd love to give you a more in depth look at some stats that you might otherwise not see.
On August 26th, there was a special election in Alabama HD-11. HD-11 is a deep, deep-red district. Often, Democrats do not even bother to field a candidate. Trump won the district 89% to 10%.
That's about as Republican as it gets. One in ten folks are voting for a Democrat.
Then, there was a special election. And in that special election, Democrats overperformed by 5%.
That's a huge margin in a district like this. Let us tell you why: deep-red rural Alabama is not where we traditionally think of persuadable voters living. Blountsville and Snead Alabama are not purple towns.
But, if we are persuading voters in these regions, then we're doing even better across the board in more traditional battlegrounds.
In other words: if Trump-Country is getting fed up with Trump, think about what it means in the rest of the country.
Trump's policies are already having trickle down effects at the ballot box. Voters are seeing what the difference between Democrats and Republicans are, and even MAGA Republicans are fed up with what they're seeing out of Washington.
We're going to cut to the chase. We help Democrats win mission critical victories. We're on the front lines, helping Democrats win special elections that can change the balance of power now, not in a few years. Please, will you chip in $25, $50, or make a more generous contribution so we can support Democrats running to flip Republican seats in upcoming special elections.
