- National Convention Concluded August 10th, 4PM
- All of your elected chapter delegates made it safely to the 2025 National DSA convention in Chicago. During the convention, delegates voted on resolutions like campaigns to free Palestine, anti-ICE organizing, electoral organizing, and more. Delegates also elected a new National Political Committee, which will oversee the national organization's projects and maintenance for the next two years. Also, our two national co-chairs, Megan and Ashik, were re-elected. Comrade Rashida Talib fired delegates up with her top-tier keynote speech. We look forward to seeing what DSA accomplishes in the next year, especially as the momentum of Zohran and other democratic socialists continues to gain steam.
- Delegates also networked, attended multiple workshops, and are bringing back as many contacts and resources to help our members grow as organizers and strengthen our chapter.
- Multiple news outlets covered the convention, including Rolling Stone, The Guardian, American Prospect, and the heavily to the right-slanted Free Beacon.
- Rose Buddies Wanted!
- Chapter Endorsement Vote, September 27th
- If you are a dues-paying member, please attend the September 27th meeting to discuss and vote on a possible chapter endorsement of Chris Bennett for Congress (D-6) in the 2026 primary. We hope to make the process as participatory as possible and hope to see you there. Please note that only members in good standing may vote in DSA meetings.
