Dear Neighbor,
During the August District Work Period, I had the privilege of hearing directly from thousands of residents through 48 in-person forums, a Veterans town hall, monthly office hours, and numerous local events across Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. Armed with input from these valuable conversations, I’m headed back to Washington, D.C. today to continue fighting on your behalf. Throughout my visits in our community, I had the chance to share updates on my work to support families, seniors, Veterans, and small businesses that are facing challenges. I also heard from many people who had misconceptions about our signature legislation this term—the One Big Beautiful Bill. I appreciated the opportunity to answer questions and set the record straight. In fact, the misinformation was so widespread that I wrote an op-ed for the Tampa Bay Times to address the most common inaccuracies. Click here to read it.
During these community conversations, I also received thoughtful suggestions for additional steps we can take to provide greater relief to those in need. Your feedback continues to strengthen my ability to serve effectively and guides the work I do in Congress on your behalf. As always, my team and I are here to serve you. If you need assistance with any federal matter, please don’t hesitate to contact my office at 727-232-2921. We are here to help!
