I owe you a massive thank you.

I know my team and I have been reaching out a lot lately — even more than usual. Perhaps you noticed? Thank you for bearing with us as we pulled out all the stops to hit our August fundraising goal.

I’ll be honest: When I first decided to run for Congress, my biggest worry was the money factor. I knew I had the right experience, the right message, and the right priorities to win. But I wasn’t used to asking for money all the time (to be completely honest, it’s still my least favorite part of the job). And in a must-win district like CO-07, I knew it would take a lot.

But thanks to the generosity of so many supporters like you, we’ve won two consecutive elections. And most importantly, your support has given millions of Americans an ally in Congress — an ally who understands what it’s like to barely make ends meet. Who understands what it’s like to be a young mom.

But the truth is, MAGA Republicans don’t like the fact that I bring that perspective to Congress. Instead, they would love to lie, cheat, and smear their way to victory here in CO-07 — all to replace me with yet another member of the top one percent.

Let’s be honest, they’re already attacking me. And soon, they’ll be coming for this seat. That’s why I need to ask:

With control of Congress on the line next year, we need to keep this campaign charging full-speed ahead, and we can only do that with grassroots support.
