Dear Neighbors, 

As summer comes to an end and as a new school year begins, I want to wish all Minnesota students, parents, teachers, and school staff a happy Back to School season. This time of year is always filled with excitement, anticipation, and the promise of new opportunities. 

To students: take pride in your education, work hard, and know that your community is cheering you on. To parents: thank you for the countless ways you support your children and their schools. And to educators: your leadership and commitment truly make a difference. 

As we start the school year, I also want to remind everyone to stay safe on the roads. With buses back on their routes and harvest season in full swing, you’ll see more school buses, farm equipment, and tractors on the roads. Please slow down, give extra space, and drive with caution to keep our kids, farmers, and neighbors safe. 

I wish everyone a safe, successful, and rewarding school year ahead. Here’s to a year of learning, growth, and great memories!
