You are invited to join Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) for a special Missing Maps event on Tuesday, September 9 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET on Zoom.

At this mapathon, we will map in Bamyan, a province in central Afghanistan,
to support ongoing MSF activities in the region. Beginner and experienced mappers are encouraged to join! More information about the mapping project and MSF speaker will be found on the MSF USA website once announced.
A special initiative founded by Doctors Without Borders, American Red Cross, British Red Cross, and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, The Missing Maps Project is powered by volunteers around the world. Using OpenStreetMap, an open, free, and crowd-sourced platform, volunteers map underserved regions in order to provide international organizations, local organizations, and individuals with geographic data to better respond to crises. | |
