** A Letter to the People of Oklahoma from Brian Hill

Friends and Fellow Oklahomans,

For the past six years, I have had the honor of serving you as State Representative for House District 47, representing Mustang, Tuttle, and parts of Oklahoma City. Today, I am excited to announce my candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of the great state of Oklahoma.

I came to the Capitol as a small business owner, a former youth pastor, an author, and a man who grew up with humble, blue-collar beginnings. My dad worked at a lumber yard, and my mom ran a daycare out of our home. They taught me the value of hard work, faith, and serving others. For more than two decades as a job creator, business leader, and counselor to entrepreneurs, I’ve been inspired to strengthen the economic hubs that sustain families and communities across Oklahoma.

Since 2018, I’ve fought to protect Oklahoma’s workforce by launching multiple economic development hubs to bring high-wage jobs to every region of our state, reduced Oklahoma’s recidivism rate to an all-time low through the Restorative Workforce Initiative, and equipped our youth aging out of foster care with the tools they need for success through the Successful Adulthood Act.

During the COVID pandemic, when radical-liberal elites tried to shut down our places of worship, I fought back to protect the religious liberties we hold dear. I authored the Religious Freedom Act so no Oklahoman has to worry about their church being shut down.

Each of these efforts reflects my belief that Oklahoma’s best days are ahead of us if we continue to invest in people, support our businesses, and stand by the values that make our state strong.

Melissa, my wife of more than 20 years, and I are raising our two children, Eleanor and Josiah, in Mustang. We love our state, and we want our children and yours to grow up in an Oklahoma full of opportunity.

That’s why I’m running for Lieutenant Governor: to unleash Oklahoma’s best; promote our state, champion our workforce, and ensure we remain a place of strong conservative values and unlimited potential.
