Happy Labor Day, friend!
Thanks for the work you do to keep this country moving forward.
I grew up in a working-class, union-built, family. My mom was a child care provider and my dad a civil servant. And all my life, they taught me that when you love this country, you work for it. That’s what I did at the AFL-CIO.
That's why today, I'm taking a moment to honor all that they put into their community – and the countless others who have championed better wages, working conditions, benefits and a voice in their workplaces.
Those fights are personal to me, friend.
It's because of their efforts that families like mine were able to break into the middle class. It's what made union jobs like mine possible – which allowed me to come home to care for my parents when they both got sick with cancer.
So, on this Labor Day, I'm proud to stand with the working families of Colorado and beyond. I’ll be at workers rights protests across the 4th district because I believe in the dignity of work.
Let's make sure hard work truly pays off – together.

P.S. If you'd like to support this campaign and help us keep fighting for workers in CO-04 and all across our country, I hope you'll consider donating to my campaign today. Every dollar brings us one step closer to the worker-centered leadership Colorado deserves.
