This Labor Day, I want to take a moment to honor the hardworking people of Alabama — the nurses, teachers, steelworkers, factory hands, retail workers, union members, and so many others who power our communities every single day. Your labor, your dedication, and your resilience are what make Alabama strong.

As your Representative in Congress, I will always stand with you and your right to organize for better wages, safer workplaces, stronger unions, and opportunities that lift up every working family in our state.

And I want to say a heartfelt thank you — not only for the work you do, but also for standing with me in this fight. Because of your support, we reached our end-of-month fundraising goal — a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together as a grassroots movement.

Today, I’m more committed than ever to building an Alabama — and an America — where hard work is respected, and every family has the chance to thrive.
