Happy Labor Day, Big!

Pennsylvania is for unions — it always has been, and it always will be!

Today, we reflect on and celebrate the labor movement and the progress it has made for our workers. From the minimum wage, to safety standards, to the 40-hour work week, and more, labor unions fought to make our country stronger, and we’re better off because of their tenacity.

Here at the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, we know that unions built this country, and we must protect them. American workers deserve fair wages, safe working conditions, and elected officials who will fight for them, not bet against them.

As you enjoy the day off with your friends and family, take a moment to reflect on all that the labor movement has given us — and the fight that is ahead of us.
