Judy Boyle claims to be a conservative voice for District 9. Her record tells a different story. Each session she moves further away from defending Idaho values and closer to serving the establishment and special interests.
In 2025, Boyle’s Freedom Index score is just 66.7%, a low D. Her Spending Index score has collapsed to 36.1%, which is a flat-out F. That means Judy Boyle votes for bigger budgets, bigger government, and less fiscal restraint most of the time. Her numbers keep dropping every year. This is not an accident. It is a trend.

Her Idaho Republican Party Platform score is 64.7%, another failing grade. When nearly four out of every ten votes break from the Republican platform, you are not representing the voters who sent you to Boise. You are representing someone else.
In 2024, Boyle received an endorsement from the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI). IACI is one of the most powerful pro-establishment lobbying groups in Idaho. They are known for backing candidates who go along with big spending, bigger government, and less accountability to the grassroots. Candidates cannot control who endorses them, but it is very telling that IACI chose Judy Boyle. They know who will play their game.

Boyle’s actions prove it. She pushed a legislative memorial asking the federal government to create a pathway to amnesty for illegal aliens. This was not done to protect Idaho families. It was done to appease her farmer constituents who want cheap labor. While conservatives across Idaho opposed it, Judy Boyle sided with special interests over Republican voters.

And when District 9 had one of its strongest conservative voices in Jacyn Gallagher, Boyle chose to back John Shirts (more on him later) instead. Gallagher fought tirelessly for conservative principles during her time in the House. Boyle supported replacing her with someone leadership could control. That was a choice, and it speaks volumes.

She has aligned herself with powerful establishment groups like IACI.
She pushed for a pathway to amnesty for illegals.
She turned her back on one of District 9’s strongest conservatives.
Judy Boyle talks like a conservative in District 9. In Boise, she votes with the establishment. She has chosen special interests over Idaho families, lobbyists over voters, and political games over conservative principles.
District 9 deserves a representative who will fight for its people. Judy Boyle has proven she is not that person.
