This campaign has been making a lot of progress since we launched in June last year. We’ve held dozens of town halls and forums, have consistently exceeded our fundraising goals, and brought on thousands of new individual donors and supporters from across the country. Kathy has also earned some really great endorsements we can all be proud of, including: National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC), Patriotic Millionaires, Vote ProChoice, National Ass’n of Social Workers, and LPAC. 

But the endorsements that matter most are from the voters and constituents of the 8th Congressional District. 

We’ve spent a lot of time listening to the concerns of the people of Southeast MO, and healthcare is the number one issue in most voters’ minds. We also hear a lot about ethics, integrity, jobs and education. 

Kathy works relentlessly every single day for people like Jeffrey B. from Cape Girardeau, who told us that "Jason Smith’s brand of politics has just plain failed us."

“What we need is somebody who’s gonna take orders from Southeast Missourians—somebody who will fight for higher wages, strong union jobs, rural hospitals, public education, and universal broadband access.”

When elected, Kathy will become Missouri’s first open LGBTQ+ Member of Congress. She will work for everyone in the 8th District, even those who don’t agree with her or didn’t vote for her. And for that reason, she is the breath of fresh air that we all so desperately need.
