I want to thank you for everything you do. Not just for me, but for every organization and Democratic candidate who is stepping up right now to resist the GOP's authoritarian attacks on our democracy.
We truly are in dangerous times. I don’t have to tell you that. And some of the biggest threats have not yet happened, though they very well could if we don’t work right now to stop it: MAGA interfering with free and fair elections, foreclosing our final attempt to restrain those in power from derailing our democracy.
Like you, I am more than “concerned” about this possibility—I am way beyond concern. I am taking action every day to bring in as many regular folks as possible into this coalition and building a bigger tent for every American who values freedom and democracy.
I wanted to explain that this is why I ask so frequently for your support.
As a Democrat running for Congress in a swing district, fundraising is crucial. I can’t win, much less run a strong campaign, without putting real effort into raising money.
Tonight, we have an important midnight deadline that will set the tone for our campaign. I have told my team that we need to raise another $10,235 before midnight to make sure we have what we need to compete—to take the Trump Administration head-on and wage a battle for our country.
