He's exactly right. Whether it's a celebratory event like the Pride parades, canvassing through the neighborhoods, or having conversations during a town hall event — one of the greatest parts of the job is being out in the community. I miss it, and I'm sure we'll be able to get together soon — but I commend the team for adapting the campaign to function entirely online during such an important Election Year.

These photos illustrate just what we're fighting for in Congress and in November. If you haven't done so yet, consider chipping in before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline at midnight TONIGHT.

I've been on Team McGovern for a while now and as we approach the summer months I’m reminded of all the public events we should be doing right now. I think about our community outreach picnics, the annual Pride parades across the district, and training new groups of volunteers and fresh graduate interns.

Thanks, Timehop.

The world looks really different right now. We're in uncharted territory in so many ways as a campaign, a community, and a country. We've cheered Jim on as he worked to shield small businesses, families, and vulnerable populations from the political consequences of a global pandemic.

Internally, we've shifted the campaign to entirely digital platforms, working out the bugs in real time. Help us continue to pave the way forward to November. Chip in $3 before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.

Together, Team McGovern continues to navigate the uncertainty and the impacts of failed leadership in the Trump administration. The days have grown long, the months have blown by, we need to have Jim's re-election campaign in full swing and nearly entirely digital for the time being.
