Let’s get straight to the point.

We need to raise another $15,000 before Sunday night, or we’ll miss our August fundraising goal before the deadline. That’s bad news for our ability to build a winning campaign for reelection and continue to fight Trump.

Now, for some campaigns, raising $15k is as easy as calling up a few billionaire donors or corporate lobbyists and asking for a check. They could raise $15k in a matter of minutes. We don’t have that luxury.

That’s because Ilhan Omar doesn’t accept these legalized bribes from the super-rich. She doesn’t want to be beholden to special interests in Congress. Her campaign is powered by grassroots donors who believe in our mission.

So for us, raising $15k will require hundreds of folks on this team stepping up with contributions of $5 or $10 at a time.
