We’ve sent several fundraising emails ahead of Eugene's August fundraising deadline, which is tomorrow at midnight. We hope you’ll take that as a sign of just how important this push is.
But you deserve to know more. Give us a chance to explain:
Something that makes our campaign unique in comparison to our MAGA opponents and many Democrats is that the majority of the donations Eugene receives in this race come from everyday folks chipping in small amounts when they can.
That means every single donation Eugene receives has a person behind it. A person who is, like Eugene, doing their part to fight back against Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy.
Eugene’s very proud of that fact. Humbled, even.
And like any good campaign, we have fundraising goals we need to reach in order to win. Big ones, especially because Eugene is a top target for national Republicans this cycle.
So these goals are NOT arbitrary. If we don’t hit them, we won’t have the resources to build the campaign we need to win next November.
But because most of the donations we receive come from emails like this, we have to ask you often for support. And since we are still short of our August fundraising goals, today is one of those days:
