Hey folks, it’s Andy Beshear – Governor of Kentucky and Vice Chair of the DGA – with an important message.

Americans are tired of the chaos, incompetence and cruelty we've seen over the past few months.

The Trump administration is enacting needless and cruel cuts to Medicaid, threatening vital public school funding, and dismantling critical infrastructure like the National Weather Service. In this moment, it’s never been more important to keep fighting for what's right.

That’s why I’m so proud of the work Democratic governors are doing. We’re fighting for progress and acting as the last line of defense for our shared values, and above all, working to create a better future for each and every American.

But with two critical governors’ races just over two months away and 36 more governors’ races in 2026, Republicans are plotting to attack our blue firewall of governors and enact Trump’s cruel agenda in the states.

He has restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the best economic development year on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans lives better from jobs, to infrastructure, health care, public education and so much more.
