happened on CEO Sam Altman’s watch.

            John,
Just days before he took his life, teenager Adam Raine confided in ChatGPT
that he wanted to leave clues of his planned suicide in his room, hoping
someone would find them and try to stop him.
Rather than alerting someone who could help, ChatGPT replied: “Please
don’t...let’s make this the first place where someone actually sees you.”
This is a parent's worst nightmare.
Adam's parents are suing OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman, who personally helped
develop ChatGPT, cut corners on safety, and silenced workers who spoke out
about the dangers. But legal cases take years, and we can’t leave
vulnerable kids at Altman’s mercy in the meantime.
If enough people sign, we’ll unleash an advertising blitz making sure that
everyone knows about the dangers of chatbots like ChatGPT and pile
pressure on OpenAI’s board to fire Sam Altman.
