This year, Colorado gun owners are facing the greatest threats to our freedoms in decades. Governor Polis and the Democrat majority have pushed through a radical new permit-to-purchase firearms regime (Senate Bill 25-003), and they’ve saddled every law-abiding Coloradan with a 6.5% excise tax on firearms and ammunition (Prop. KK).
But here’s the good news: we are fighting back.
The Colorado State Shooting Association (CSSA) has already filed suit against Prop. KK. They are joined by heavyweight co-plaintiffs including the National Rifle Association (NRA), Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), and Magnum Shooting Center.
Efforts are also underway to prepare a challenge to Senate Bill 25-003.
And CSSA will not stop until these unconstitutional infringements are struck down.
