Craft & Holiday Market

Hurst Senior Activities Center

Join us for our annual Craft & Holiday Market! Open to all, this event features 60 vendors offering a wide array of unique items, including jewelry, home décor, clothing, and more. Many of the vendors are talented HSAC members showcasing their hand-crafted creations, alongside other local business owners from the community. Whether you're looking for one-of-a-kind gifts or something special for yourself, you'll find it here. Plus, enjoy delicious concessions available as you shop. Don’t miss out on this festive shopping experience!

Recreation

Kid's Triathlon

Saturday, September 20, 2025
7:30-9 a.m.
Chisholm Park

This event is a free and fun twist on the traditional triathlon that gives kids ages 5-12 the opportunity to bike the path around Chisholm Aquatics Center (roughly .6 miles), run a short course (roughly .25 miles), and finish off by enjoying our slip-and-slide and foam party!

Join us this fall at the Hurst Recreation Center for a variety of creative and engaging classes! We offer different programs for all ages, so there’s something for the whole family.

• Fall Session I - September 15-October 11
• Fall Session II - October 20-November 15
• Fall Session III - December 1-December 13

Hurst Recreation Center Clean Week

From August 11–16, the Hurst Recreation Center temporarily closed its doors for our annual Clean Week. We truly appreciate your patience during this time, as the closure allowed our team to complete a deep-clean of the facility and make several exciting upgrades to enhance your experience.

Here's what's new and exciting:

• Foosball Table*
• Air Hockey Table*
• New Ping-Pong Table*
• Kid-friendly waiting areas & sensory walls
• Updated toys and equipment for Hurst Kidz
• And more!

*A membership or day pass is required to use this equipment.

Hurst Recreation Center New Memberships

Starting October 1, the Hurst Recreation Center is rolling out new, customizable membership packages designed to fit you and your family’s needs!

With our new tiered memberships, you’ll have the option to include popular classes like Zumba, Yoga, Spin, and more, plus access to our Hurst Kidz Child Watch program.

Here’s what you need to know:

• New memberships begin October 1.
• Current memberships remain valid until their expiration date.
• Dual Memberships/Senior Activities Center memberships will not change.
• Class Passes and Hurst Kidz passes will be discontinued, but you can upgrade your membership at any time to keep enjoying these great programs.

Labor Day at Hurst Aquatics

Celebrate the final weekend of the 2025 season with us at Chisholm Aquatics Center! We've enjoyed providing our community with a safe and fun space this summer, and we plan to finish strong with Labor Day weekend! Join us for one last swim on Monday, September 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
