Yesterday, a mass shooter opened fire at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, killing two children and injuring at least 17 more before killing themselves. 

Within hours of the massacre, Boebert took to X (formerly Twitter) to capitalize on the tragedy, blame trans people, and redirect the public away from the shooters far-right origins:  

Boebert neglects to mention that the shooter idolized far-right mass killers like Anders Breivik and NZ Mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant, and had written “6 million wasn’t enough” on their gun—a reference to the number of Jews killed by Nazis—and was wearing Nazi symbols.  

Instead, Boebert and her pals want you to believe tolerance of transgender/LGBTQ people and progressive politics caused this shooting. 

The trans-narrative that Boebert is pushing is going to get people killed, and she knows it, that's the whole point. Their playbook is simple: dehumanize marginalized people and prime the public for the violence that the right wants to use against them.
