This brand-new resource is now available to parents nationwide. The Parental Toolkit provides straightforward explanations of key federal laws and recent Supreme Court rulings, including Title IX, Title VI, IDEA, FERPA, PPRA, and more. It also offers resources like opt-out forms and letter templates that parents can use to address school curricula that may conflict with their family's values. WILL Education Counsel, Cory Brewer, stated, “As another school year begins, parents are left with many questions about their rights under federal law, state law, and recent court decisions. Schools may share some information, but it is often unclear or incomplete. Our new toolkit gives parents the tools they need to advocate for their children and make informed decisions about their education.” Read More TOMORROW: Don't Miss New Parental Toolkit Webinar You're invited you to our special webinar on Thursday, August 28 at 6PM (CT)! Register Victory for Free Speech at Wisconsin Farmers Market WILL recently issued a warning to the Village of Bonduel, challenging an unconstitutional rule that banned the sale of "politically or religiously affiliated merchandise" at its farmers market. On behalf of a local crafter and small business owner, Polly Colvin, WILL argued the rule violates the First Amendment by restricting free speech and the free exercise of religion. The Village promptly responded, stating they did not intend to block Colvin from selling her products and would review the rule at their next meeting. WILL will continue to monitor the situation to ensure these restrictions are repealed. WILL Client, Polly Colvin, stated, “I’m so grateful for the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Library and their willingness to help preserve the rights of all Americans, no matter how small the issue might seem. It matters a great deal to small business owners!” Learn More Other Ways To Get Involved With WILL: There are so many ways that you can help us defend freedom in Wisconsin and across the country!
