Arizonans need bold action now.

John, the temperature in Phoenix got up to 111 degrees last week.

This isn’t just another hot summer. For seniors, outdoor workers, low-income families, and people experiencing homelessness, extreme heat is life-threatening — and it’s only getting worse as a result of the climate crisis.

Washington has failed to act. Republicans continue to ignore science and data, leaving communities on the frontlines of climate change exposed and vulnerable.

That’s why Yassamin introduced three bold bills to fight back: funding community heat mitigation projects, coordinating federal agencies through the National Integrated Heat Health Information System (NIHHIS), and commissioning a national study on the economic impacts of extreme heat.

Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to help us fight for Arizonans and push Congress to finally take climate change seriously?

Extreme heat is one of the deadliest natural disasters in the world. Together, we can protect vulnerable communities and build a safer, more resilient Arizona.
