I know you’re probably just kicking off your work week, so I’ll be brief:

As Democrats, we can’t allow Donald Trump to become the new normal. We can’t allow his contempt for the Constitution and the American people to become politics as usual.

That’s why I proudly voted to move forward with the President’s impeachment investigation earlier this year — and it’s why I’ll continue to be one of the most vocal, proactive members of Congress against Trump, despite representing one of the most competitive districts in the country.

But the truth is, that courage puts a huge target on my back. The GOP has already singled me out as one of their top targets, which means Donald Trump would love nothing more than to watch me lose.

We can’t let that happen — and that’s why I’m turning to you. Will you pitch in right now to help me and my team hold this critical seat? Republicans are already running attack ads against me, so we need to kick this campaign into high gear as soon as humanly possible.
