John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:

  • What is Black Lives Matter?
"Black Lives Matter" (BLM) has many meanings and many faces. The unusual way that BLM straddles the border between decentralized protest movement and organized nonprofit entities creates much confusion. CRC's Robert Stilson untangles much of that confusion in this report.
  • Who is Susan Rosenberg?
Susan Rosenberg has worn many hats over the years: convicted terrorist, Weather Underground member, and member of the May 19th Communist Organization. Her current hat is vice chair of the board of directors of Thousand Currents, which fiscally sponsors the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation. That's the nonprofit that receives donations made at BlackLivesMatter.com. At the foundation, she has some kindred spirits, including "three radical Black organizers" who are "trained Marxists." Read my exposé here.
  • When does the Left not "believe women"?
Sexual assault allegations are no laughing matter and should be thoroughly investigated, but the Left's response to Tara Reade's allegation against Sen. Joseph Biden reveals the utter hypocrisy of the Left's claims to "believe women." The Left now seems to acknowledge--after the Kavanagh confirmation hearing has passed--that a mere allegation of sexual misconduct should not damn the accused. CRC's Caleb Sutherlin documents the hypocrisy here.
  • What's the source of all political evil in America?
Slay the Dragon, a documentary about the 2018 campaign to reform redistricting in Michigan, argues that all the evil in America--or at least public policies that leftists assume to be evil--is the fault of gerrymandering by state legislatures. Among its startling revelations is the fact that politicians and political parties, gasp, engage in politics. CRC's Ken Braun sorts through the film's half-truths, selective statistics, and deceptions here.

Tara Reade and the
#BelieveAllWomen Hypocrisy

When it comes to allegations of sexual assault, should we “Believe All Women”? Republicans weren’t wrong when they claimed Judge Kavanaugh deserved the benefit of the doubt, and Democrats aren’t wrong when they say Biden deserves the benefit of the doubt. Justice is only served when all Americans, regardless of their political perspective, are treated equally.

InfluenceWatch Podcast 125 Charter School Myths

In this episode: Nationwide demonstrations continue against perceived racial and ethnic inequities, and while left-wing activists and the media focus on left-wing wishlists and mob-initiated iconoclasm, our latest guest offers a different way to improve the lives of black Americans. Jim Waters, president of the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions, offers one such solution: expanding charter schools. Jim joins us to discuss the prospects for charter schools in Kentucky and across the country.
