I’m reaching out because I needed to show you this:  Donald Trump just called mail-in voting “corrupt,” and threatened to issue an executive order banning it entirely throughout the nation. This is completely ludicrous, and clearly unconstitutional. It’s been proven time and again that voting by mail is easy, secure, saves money, and most importantly, it helps ensure more people are able to make their voices heard on Election Day. And Coloradans would know — we launched Colorado's universal vote by mail system back when I was governor in 2013. We pioneered Colorado’s gold-standard for free and fair elections because making it easier for people to have a say in our democracy is the right thing to do. In Colorado, every voter gets a mail-in ballot, and we're consistently one of the top states for voter turnout. That only proves we should be making it easier for everyday folks to vote, not harder! The bottom line is, Trump needs to stop messing with our elections. It’s simply un-American. And we’ll stand up to it every step of the way. So can you pitch in a couple bucks to help us fight back?
