Folks, it’s John. 

Throughout my time in public service, I've worked to create good-paying jobs and grow opportunities for all. When we held the Senate majority, we worked to write and pass landmark legislation that would bring hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs to Colorado, as well as expanding access to capital for small businesses in disadvantaged communities, and providing pensions for truly small businesses and gig workers.

But right now? Republicans are eliminating thousands of clean energy jobs and canceling federal grants intended to supercharge the development of affordable wind and solar power — which will hike up folks’ electricity bills!

And when the Bureau of Labor Statistics released their latest report, revising May and June numbers downwards by 258,000 jobs? Trump sacked the BLS commissioner, as if that would somehow replace the hundreds of thousands of lost jobs.

The bottom line is this: Trump’s reckless policies are destroying jobs and wreaking havoc on the economy — and steering us straight toward a recession.

It’s clear we need leaders in Congress who will actually stand up to Trump and check his power to protect working people. That's why it’s critical Democrats take back the Senate in 2026, and that starts with holding must-win seats like ours here in Colorado. So please, if you’re with me, can you chip in a couple bucks to defend this seat and help Democrats flip the Senate?
