Dear Friend,

From bringing Trump Administration officials to Minnesota to visiting Vikings training camp, we’ve had the chance to participate in many exciting meetings while in the state for the August District Work Period.

Watch: Congressman Emmer tours New Flyer of America with FTA Administrator Marc Molinaro

Last week, we toured New Flyer of America’s bus manufacturing facility in St. Cloud with Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) Administrator Marc Molinaro. It was a pleasure to welcome Administrator Molinaro to our district to highlight the great work happening at New Flyer and discuss how our One Big Beautiful bill will unleash American manufacturing.

For more than 45 years, Blaine Brothers has helped keep Minnesota’s truck drivers on the road and our supply chains moving. This month, we toured their facility, met with their leadership team, and discussed some of the federal policies that are impacting their work.

We were also lucky enough to stop by the Vikings Training Camp to see how the Vikings are preparing for the upcoming season. It was great to meet with the coaches and players and see the team in action before the season officially begins. It is never easy being a Vikings fan, but I am optimistic about our chances this year!

Finally, we were grateful to welcome Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer to Minnesota. Secretary Chavez-DeRemer joined us for a tour of Cambria’s manufacturing facility and a discussion focused on how our One Big Beautiful Bill, combined with the historic trade deals President Trump has negotiated, will support American manufacturing and unlock opportunity for Minnesotans across our state.

As we prepare to return to Washington, rest assured that we will continue to advocate for policies that support Minnesota workers, manufacturers, and job creators.

Sincerely,
