It's
Martin O'Malley, former Commissioner of the Social Security
Administration.

I'll cut to the chase: Social Security is under attack.

Donald Trump and Republicans are taking a hatchet to this crucial
program that millions of Americans rely on -- and we need to elect
Democratic leaders who will protect it.

Democratic Senate majority that will support Social Security?

Let me explain why this is so important, friend.

Social Security is the bedrock of our social safety net and keeps
millions of Americans out of poverty -- so they can retire with dignity.
In its 90 years of existence, no other American institution has done so
much to help so many.

But Trump and Republicans are hell-bent on ruining this vital program.

First, they slashed its staff. Then, Trump's disastrous megabill lined
up an $18,000 benefit cut for the average retired couple in just a few
years. Now, Trump's own Treasury Secretary says their real plan is "a
backdoor for privatizing Social Security."

These are terrible and dangerous ideas -- and the vast majority of
Americans oppose them.

That's why I'm coming to you. You and I know this
program is too important to mess around with. We must fight back.

[ [link removed] ]The DSCC is working around the clock to send strong Democrats to the
Senate who will protect Social Security and fight for our future. So I'm
personally asking you to get in this fight beside me and donate
$5 today. >>
