The El Salvador Era — The Trump administration wrongfully deported Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a brutal prison in El Salvador. Yassamin and three of her Democratic colleagues traveled to El Salvador to meet with Mr. Garcia and fought for his return to the United States.

The Big, Ugly Bill Era — The start of many long nights at the Capitol as Yassamin and Democrats fought back against Republicans’ budget that gives tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy and guts health care for 17 million Americans.

The Accountability Era — After Trump signed his ugly budget into law, Yass got straight to work calling out the Arizona Republicans who voted in favor of this disastrous budget and sold out their constituents.
