After eleven days of negotiations in Geneva, INC-5.2 ended in deadlock and disappointment.
Despite an overwhelming majority of countries calling for an ambitious treaty that addresses the full life cycle of plastic, progress was once again blocked by stall tactics from a small group of oil producing countries.
